Where is the event?

This year’s Ignite takes place at a brand-new venue, the Hyatt Regency Portland, located at 375 NE Holladay Street in Portland, Oregon.

 

What time is the event?

Registration for the VIP Dinner opens at 5:30PM and the dinner and program will begin promptly at 6:30PM. The Main Event doors will open at 8PM.

 

What will the program be like during the VIP Dinner?

When you arrive, you’ll get checked in at the registration table. After that, enjoy complimentary drinks, mingling with guests and the chance to purchase raffle tickets and bid on silent auction packages during the social hour. Around 6:15PM, a chime will ring to announce that guests may be seated for dinner. While you eat, we’ll begin our program, which includes inspiring stories and a live auction. Following the program, you’ll transition into the Main Event to dance the night away!

 

What will the program be like during the Main Event?

Doors will open at 8PM—get ready for a night full of fun and dancing! Beverages and snacks will be provided during the night and there will be separate lounge spaces and a photo booth to take a break from the festivities. From 8PM to 9:30PM, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in the silent auction and other activities. The event will end promptly at midnight.

 

What should I wear to Ignite?

This year’s event has a “Roaring ’20s” theme, so please come dressed in the glitz, glamour and fashion of the 1920s with a modern twist.

 

Note: Costume accessories resembling weapons will not be allowed into the venue.

Where can I park?

There is a paid parking garage available at the Hyatt Regency Portland. Metered street parking can also be found near the venue.

 

What kinds of drinks will be available, and will they be complimentary?

Beer, wine, signature cocktails, sodas, water, coffee and tea will all be complimentary at the event. If you’d like to purchase a cocktail, there will be full bars available at both the VIP Dinner and Main Event.

 

What if I have a food allergy?

For the VIP Dinner, just let your server know when you get to your table on the night of the event. They will be able to accommodate any food requests you have (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc). During the Main Event, please ask any server if you need ingredient information about the provided refreshments and snacks.

 

How can I purchase an auction item or donate to Basic Rights Oregon at the event?

When you arrive for the VIP Dinner, you will be asked for your credit card during the registration process to start a tab. You will then be provided a bid paddle to make any donations or purchases. The credit card on file will be charged at the end of the night to include all of your purchases. You will only be charged for what you spend. After the event, you will be emailed your receipt, or we can print one for you at the end of the night. Additionally, you can also bring a check or cash to pay for purchases at check-out.

 

 

We have been monitoring the current COVID-19 public health crisis and are hopeful we can still gather for Ignite in October. We will send out updates if the situation changes over time.
