Glow your brightest at this year’s Ignite on Saturday, October 12!  We’re coming together to celebrate victories that advance equality for LGBTQ communities and ignite change in Oregon and beyond. Basic Rights Oregon ignited out of fire in 1996, after facing the most anti-LGBTQ ballot measures of any state. Now we’re reaching momentous victories at an unprecedented pace, with three major policy initiatives in four years!

In 2015, we banned the dangerous practice of conversion therapy for youth in Oregon.

In 2017, we passed the first standalone, statewide transgender justice bill in the country.

And, now in 2019, we fought to make sure that every LGBTQ student is supported through Adi’s Act, a model suicide prevention policy for all Oregon school districts in support of the most marginalized students.

We’re moving Oregon forward with LGBTQ equality, so come celebrate what can be dreamed of–and accomplished–when we work together.  

Kick off the evening at the VIP Dinner or join us later to dance the night away! We’ll all come together in joy, solidarity and support for Basic Rights Oregon.
